School Communication

We know it's important that you know what's happening and when, how things are going and where to find information. We have a range of tools to communicate the different types of information about learning and school events, as follows:

Our key communications tool is the Hero App. This is a one-stop shop for all events and news and is available in the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. You can receive alerts and notify absences, plus there are links to other tools.

We send out Hero App messages, which are reminders, e.g. sports days or weather cancellations. You can choose not to receive any alerts.

The calendar icon on the app accesses the calendar on the website. You can download events to your calendar on your phone and set reminders. News on the App contains news articles, e.g. Pet Day information, an urgent health message, or a group of items in a weekly newsletter. News articles are loaded to the news section on the website.
