Dot runs the central nervous system of the school. You’ll find her in the office dealing with finance and all the complicated paperwork that is involved in keeping everything running smoothly. Dot shares
her office with Richie McCaw and Richie Mo’unga. Secretly, she feeds off the inspiration from their professional demeanour looking down (not to mention their good looks). She is a lover of dogs but
rottweilers in particular having owned four over the years. She also loves cats, rugby and cricket. She is a past parent at Ladbrooks school, having had her two sons attend and during their tenure here, her husband Noel was an active member including chair of the board of trustees so the association with the school is longstanding.

Her regular happy time out place is reading outside on a Sunday afternoon, in fact it’s a Sunday ritual that she protectively defends. Saturdays in summer, she’ll be quite at home at local parks watching the Sydenham Mens Premier Cricket team in action while trying to keep 3 exuberant dogs (2 of her own and 1 grand dog under control).

She has a passion for re homing unwanted cats and dogs and has travelled as far as Auckland and to the Westcoast to bring home pets that have been abandoned.

She is a fan of sarcastic comedy and in particular enjoys the humour of Billy Connolly, Ricky Gervais and Jimmy Carr.
